P.S.H.R.E.

PSHRE (Personal, Social, Health and Relationships Education) is a foundation for helping children stay healthy, safe and prepared for life and work. PSHRE is vital to emotional wellbeing, physical health, academic attainment and preparation for work. The study of PSHRE eliminates barriers to learning and develops skills that benefit young individuals to prosper. As Diane Coyle said, ‘The positive impact on academic attainment, including benefits to physical health, mental health and behaviour, all of which greatly affect students not just in the classroom, but continue to benefit them in their adult life’. The Battle Primary Academy PSHRE curriculum will provide pupils with the knowledge, understanding, attitudes, values and skills they need in order to reach their potential as individuals and within the community.
