e-Safety

At Battle Primary Academy we understand that children start using computers from a very early age and are increasingly using the Internet more and more whether it is at home, in school, on their mobile phones or on a games console. With this in mind, Internet Safety and knowing how to help protect children and young people online is essential. We ensure our children are taught annually about online dangers.

Just as you want to keep your child safe in the real world, you will want to do the same in the virtual world. THINK-U-KNOW is a great website.

Educating yourself, about online safety, will enable you to educate your child on how to keep safe and give them the tools they need to navigate their online world without being hurt.

The NCA's CEOP Command (formerly the Child Exploitation and Online Protection Centre) works to protect children from harm online and offline, directly through NCA led operations and in partnership with local and international agencies. Their website offers further support in how and when to make use of this report function. The PCSO also comes in to talk to the children about this later in the year.
